Description

Translation Checker is a tool for checking translated ".po" files.

This tool checks for the following errors:

Missing parameters (either %1, %2 style, or %s, %d style)
Missing translations

Notes

Please, do read the documentation in this file before emailing me! I know it's not much, and only really covers the basics, but...
To use Translation Checker:
1. Run TranslationChecker.exe
2. Enter the location of the English "default.po" file in the latest release of the software you are trying to check (for example "...\locale\en\LC_MESSAGES\default.po")
3. Enter the location of the translated "default.po" file
4. Select the appropriate parameter style
  - For checking FreeOTFE translations, ensure that the "Check %1, %2 style parameters" option is selected
5. Click "Check"
The translated file will then be checked, and any problems found will be reported.

This software is released under the same licence as the SDeanComponents Delphi components.
